Should i throw out my first bp reading, was 137/86 second was 129/82. if so should i recommend to dr also. my 1st reading is always higher?

Not uncommon: This happens quite frequently and I attribute it to the anxiety of checking your BP - in the same boat as "white coat hypertension." I routinely check BP at least 3 times in people when I observe this and use the BPs that settle down, usually the lowest or about the lowest readings.

No worry: Both readings are within normal range. Blood pressure is very dynamic, and can change from minute to minute. The goal is to remain in the safe zone (140/90) most of the time. Anxiety, exertion will push up the number a few points above that.. no worries if it is usually ok..
