Have heard you get sick while first taking fluoxetine. i'm too scared to take my meds. what am i supposed to do if i throw up the medicine if sick?

Take the medicine: Fear of a potential side effect shouldn't stop you from taking the medication in the first place. Your doctor has taken the time to consider all risks/benefits, and has determined that the benefits far outweigh the risks of things like side effects. Plus, most people I've treated with fluoxetine did fine, and only had side effects (if any at all) after at least several days or weeks.
