NSAIDs: Hi RubyM927, please see your doctor to confirm your chest pain is caused by costochondritis and not something more serious. In addition, make sure you do not have any contraindications to NSAIDs. Costochondritis is treated by reducing inflammation either by modifying activities that cause the inflammation and/or utilizing OTC NSAIDs such as Ibuprofen or Naproxen.
