Not sure: why you would have a sore throat as shingles affects skin and not oral mucosa generally. Sore throat is most likely coincidental unless you are talking about the skin around your neck and that is where the rash occurred. If so then you may have post-hepetic neuropathy. If this persists consult your doctor.
