Atypical: The uterus should have time to recover after a D&C for a miscarriage. It is unusual for pain to persist. However, if you have pain that comes with menses, it may be secondary to that. If you have new onset sex related pain, I would recommend a visit to your GYN for an assessment. They can check to see if you have an infection.
