A member asked:

Wld 2 threatened m/cs btwn 10th and 15th; excessive class c drugs; tsh of 16.7; t4 of 12.6, cause delayed embryonic growth for approx. 1 week or more?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

YES!: A history of 2 or more miscarriages, exposure to certain class C drugs early in pregnancy, advanced maternal age (>35) and a low thyroid can each individually put a pregnancy at risk for "intrauterine growth retardation", miscarriage and fetal malformation. Combine all these factors together and this is a very high risk pregnancy. Waste no time seeing an OB experienced in high risk pregnancy.
