Can u have a period if u did not ovulate? if so where will the bleeding come from?

Period and ovulation: Yes you can have a period and not ovulate. We call it anovulatory bleeding and it is VERY common. Ovulation has to do with ovary producing egg. Period has to do with uterus shedding its lining because no egg was fertilized. They are related but somewhat separate processes. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

YES,: This calls Anovulatory cycle. In normal cycle the decline in Progesterone causes the shedding of inner layer of Uterus and therefore bleeding, in Anovulatory cycle there isn't any Progesterone and therefore inability of Estrogen to support the growth of inner layer of Uterus causes the bleeding.
