I have been having a combination of a wet and dry cough. i now have a swollen gland is it possible that coughing can cause this?

Swollen gland: The swollen gland is probably a lymph node caused by the bacteria or virus that caused the cough and cold in the first place. Most of these swollen glands will resolve over time. If it does not resolve in a few weeks or if you have any night sweats you should see you doctor. I hope you feel better soon. Good luck! Hope this helped.
