Maybe: A lot of clinical environments have been moving away from latex. But if you are wearing them then yes, you may have developed an allergy. However, the act of scrubbing may be the cause of your problem too, and it may not be an actual allergy. Irritant contact dermatitis is more common than allergic contact dermatitis. See a dermatologist to help you figure this out.
