Tolerance: Eventually, you will build some tolerance to zzzquil and therefore, it will be less effective. Make sure you are concentrating on sleep hygiene as a first step. Reduce/eliminate caffeine and at least not after noon. Dark, cool, quiet bedroom. Bed is only for sleep, sex and reading. Avoid work, electronics and television in the bedroom. Sleep and wake at the same time daily.
