Right after i ate lunch i took a multi-vitamin and a couple minutes later threw up. why does this happen and do recommend a different type of vitamin?

Esophageal irritated: Unless you have a nutrient deficiency I would not recommend a daily multivitamin. Vomiting after taking a pill is typically caused by irritation of the esophagus (pill esophagitis). You can try to take the pill with 4-6 ounces of water. If it continues you should see your doctor who might send you to a GI doctor.
