A member asked:

Can you get sjs from using creams on the skin? or just from drugs/infections?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Stevens Johnson: syndrome is indeed mostly from oral and injectable drugs rather than topical creams or medicines. Sulfa medications as well as other antibiotics and anti epileptic drugs have been implicated. It is a very rare disease but serious if occurs. Any concerns, see a doc immediately.
