Great Question: If I knew the answer to this question I could retire! The glib answer is, "You become like millions of other American young adults." You correctly recognize that we don't change our behavior until we're motivated to. You could start by asking yourself what is keeping you from changing your lifestyle. Think about what a healthy lifestyle looks like and how you could make that fun. Good luck!

Align with values: It is great that you are aware of knowing it would be beneficial to change, and yet the motivation is not there. To further assess readiness to change define what your core values are and what is most important to you short term and long term in your health and well being-what do you want your health to look like in 1 yr, 5 yr, etc. When changes is ready to take place define small tangible goals.
