PCOS: Of you aren't having periods it's likely due to the PCOS which causes abnormal high estrogen and testosterone typically. You need estrogen and progesterone produced in ovaries to be in the right ratios to each other in order to have regular periods. You've gotten a prescription for Provera (medroxyprogesterone) which is good. Untreated PCOS can be dangerous if don't have periods.
