Yes but: MRA of which arteries? MRA of the coronary arteries is still under study. It is more readily accepted for the brain blood vessels and neck also abdomen and legs. The hearts continual movement , is an issue newer magnets and software are trying to solve. But to look at the wall motion and valves, echo studies are still a great way to go.

Structure or fxn. : While the MRA looks at your blood vessels from an anatomical perspective, the stress echo would look at the blood vessels from a functional perspective. The MRA, for example, may show a blockage which is not functionally important.
