A member asked:

My 6 year old son has had enlarged lymph nodes of the neck for 4 years now, his ldh has gone from 487 to 522 in 3 months, what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many things: LDH is a rather nonspecific test. It can be elevated in cardiac, blood, liver, lung, muscle, kidney disease & malignancy. Your child's pediatrician or gastroenterologist are really the on's who you should be discussing this with, since they are familiar with & managing your child's health.
