Disastisfied: First, start by having a respectful discussion with the dentist as to why you are not pleased with the treatment and why. Hopefully and usually these types of situations can be worked out with a mutually agreeable solution. If not, then get a second opinion from a well respected dentist in your area to see whether or not your feelings are justified and what alternatives you have.

Discussion: I find the best solution in any disagreement, whether professional or personal, is to discuss the matter. You did not say what treatment was rendered. I'm sure your dentist wants you to be pleased with the final results of his/her treatment. Best bet is to have a consultation to express your concerns.

Talk to dentist 1st: The first step is to try and resolve the problem by discussing it with your dentist. If you are still not satisfied then get the second opinion. If your complaint is reasonable your dentist will fix it. Take care.
