Examination : Any new appearing lesions, spots & sores on the eye should be examined. You are probably seeing nevi or epheli both which are common on the iris. Rarely nevi can transform into melanoma. An examination will establish a diagnosis and a baseline. Most are monitored by periodic checkups.
