Avoid > 4-5 yolks/wk: However, generally, some recommendations suggest limiting your egg consumption to less than 4 per week. Mainly the yolk contains the high cholesterol component, so eating more egg whites should be no problem. Egg white is mainly protein.

Whites and yolks.: Inasmuch as the white contains the protein and the yolk contains the fat and cholesterol, you'd want to limit the yolks to o lay a couple each week. You can really have egg whites ad lib - each provides about five grams of high quality protein.
