Ibuprofen: Ibuprofen and an ice pack. If it persists past a few days or if you get a fever you'll need to see the doctor

IBU/warm compresses: You can try Ibuprofen and warm compresses and if the gland does not go down in 1-2 days, than you need to see the Dr. for an evaluation.
