A member asked:

Ssa over 8.0,ana 1:320.no real inflamationw/ blood tests can hardly walk. joint, muscle pain, dry mouth eyes ok rheum says fibro.does this sound likely?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Impossible to say: It is impossible to say since the diagnosis of fibromyalgia depends on a complete history and physical exam. Remember, fibromyalgia is a not uncommon component of connective tissue disorders. The ANA and SSA can be positive in normals. If you are concerned, get a 2nd opinion.
