RLS: either it is electrolyte abnormality or restless leg syndrome , you can contact your doctor to check your potassium and magnesium levels checked , also your iron for RLS

Common: "Charley horses" are somewhat common and seem to happen at night primarily. Causes can be dehydration, low potassium, low calcium, muscle overuse or just because. I suggest to my patients a nighttime snack of tonic water and a banana. You should also see your doctor to have your blood work checked. Sometimes, if the cramps are severe and frequent, muscle relaxers help.
