Need more info : typically not *normal*, but depends on which "LFTs" and how high. there are a number of syndromes where any combination can be elevated in a benign process (gilbert's for example, can't conjugate bilirubin so it's high). you have UC so your docs need to keep a close eye on possibility of PSC. is that why you had the MRCP?

My brother had a stent placed in the CBD 10 years ago and till today he has shown no symptoms of stent blockage. There is also no Acute Cholangitis. His LFTs are normal. Does this indicate the stent is fully functional?
