So many rules!: Hi. I'd say don't worry how you take your levothyroxine (LT4), just take it. They make all these rules for taking it that just aren't important! I tell my patients to take it once daily with whatever they want! LT4 is cheap and comes in a wide range of doses. If some foods or medicines reduce the fraction absorbed, we can easily tell from labs, and adjust the dose for pennies/day to make it right!
