How long should i bleed bright red after urethral lithotripsy? i had a 1 cm calcium stone broken up and removed and a stent placed yesterday. drinking a full glass of water after each urination but the bleeding is bright red still.

Post bleeding: Heavy bleeding would be unusual and concerning after that procedure although mild amounts of blood in urine could occur for days. Notify your urologist of this bleeding and get advice.
