Went to gyn, told me the ovarian cyst grew in 3 months,it's now hemorrhagic, follow up in 6wks, could this be why ive had spotting?

Yes: A hemorrhagic ovarian cyst can definitely be a cause of spotting. I would definitely keep your doctor's advice, however, to follow up in 6 weeks about the growth of the cyst and your symptoms. Best wishes.
