Maybe: Talk to your Orthopedist about this option. It depends on the type/extent of planned surgeries, your general health and other medical conditions, and how much support you have at home. One recovery / rehabilitation time is always better than two--unless Dr is concerned you will not do well "favoring both legs" at the same time.
