Arthritis: Arthritis is inflammation of a joint and this can cause the look of bruising at some times in the knuckle joints,etc.

Need more info: Bruising of the knuckles implies that there was trauma to the skin. If the knuckles are swollen but not red then it may be as a result of his occupation. Also fist fights with or without gloves may cause bruising.

Knuckles bruising : This can be due to many things: can you send a photo? Are you on any blood thinners. Diagnosis can range from being on blood thinners to dermatomyositis. Depends on photo. Consult with us to help solve this issue.
