No.: It works on the hypothalamus by interfering with the negative feedback mechanism of FSH production in the anterior pituitary. More FSH leads to more graffian follicle maturation and a higher chance of ovulation. Usually FSH will decline and a dominant follicle develops instead of multiple follicles.
