Not sure: Hard to know what to make of that estrogen level. If it is 213 pg/ml then that number usually reflects a midcycle estrogen level with a follicle that is close to ovulating. An ultrasound would reveal what is going on in terms of the ovary so i would discuss that with your doc. Clomid (clomiphene) is usually started when the estrogen level is about 20-80 pg/ml. That is the level typically found in pcos.

High estrogen level: Did you also have a sonogram? A cyst on one or both of your ovaries could cause your Estradiol level to be 213, if the blood test was on day 2, 3 or 4 of your cycle. Estradiol levels are also high later in your cycle when a follicle is developing. Clomid (clomiphene) won't work to help you ovulate this month if your estrogen level is this high, but it won't hurt your ovaries. Talk to your dr about your options.
