Restless legs/cramps: The symptoms you describe are consistent with restless legs syndrome. This often happens at night, exercise can make the problem worse. Iron deficiency can make the problem worse. Also you may have low potassium, magnesium or calicium. As you exercise, you need to replace the minerals that you consume and lose through sweating. If moving the legs makes the discomfort go away then likely it's RLS.
