UTI: Classic symptom for urinary tract infection. Women are more prone to UTI than men, esp during the summer. This has to do with anatomy and the tendency to sit in a wet bathing suit, causing a 'wicking' action of normal e. coli bacteria from the anus to the urethra. Usually treatable with a short course of antibiotic (cipro), but may require a urinalysis to identify the bacteria and sensitivity
