Alot: The heart exam isn't just listening ,its palpation, visual,and auscultation. To answer your question ,listening to your heart can tell the doctor the heart rate, rhythm, if theres any murmurs which may point to the need to further testing. Unlikely for a 22 yo to slip through without picking up a problem. This of course assumes you go for regular check ups etc.
