White tongue : Are you taking any medications? How is your general health? This could be thrush and is something that your primary care should check out for the cause.

See a dentist: It's very difficult to say what it could be without seeing the patient, it could possibly be nothing serious, oral thrush or geographic tongue? See a dentist for evaluation and treatment if needed. Good luck.
