Probiotics are fine: You can pay money for "probiotics" or just eat them in your food like in yogurt, sour cream or yogurt drinks. The only time I don't recommend probiotics is if the body is very weak, and "too much" of a good thing can be bad. There are cases where very sick and weaken patients developed infections from the probiotics themselves. This doesn't seem to apply in ur case, - some patients get indigestion
