No problem!: Please, do not worry. I tell my patients all the time - it is NOT detrimental. Sleep in any position you would like or is comfortable for you. It is much more important to get a good night sleep, not be tired, and not have panic attacks. You won't do any harm.

Best to sleep on sid: While it is best to sleep on your sides I would not be concerned if you occasional wake up on your back. I tell my patients to wedge a pillow so if they roll over they will still be tilted and not flat on back.
