About

Bio

I am a generalist OB/GYN who works in private practice in NYC and is affiliated with NYU Medical Center. I am also on faculty at NYU School of Medicine. I have wanted to be a doctor for as long as I remember and have wanted to become an OB/GYN even before medical school. I enjoy bringing little joys to the lives of my patients and provide them with support and reassurance. I am originally from the former Soviet Union but have been in the United States for most of my time. I am a midwesterner from Detroit, Michigan - where majority of my education took place. However, 12 years ago, I made a move to the vibrant city of New York and have stayed ever since. I believe health is the combination of knowledge, reasonable thinking and the trust in your doctors.

Specialties
Doctors may have more than one area of specialty interest. Board certification in a specialty area means the doctor has completed formal training and has practice experience in that specialty, and has passed the certification examination from the corresponding accredited medical specialty board.
