Can a pinched nerve cause pain in the neck (jugular area) and pain around the top of your head which is sensitive to touch?

Yes: Pinched nerves can cause so much actual and referred pain. So, if you've had the pain for more than a week or few days, call your PCP, and have it examined, and see what is going on. If it's musculoskeletal, it's easily fixed or remedied with meds, PT, or osteopathic manipulation by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).If it's more than that, you'll be visiting a neurologists. So, start w/UR PCP!
