A causal link has : not been proven, but there is an association in Hispanics & young adults, especially with comorbid anxiety & depressive disorders. Long-term, consistent Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy is the mainstay of treatment for OCD, with adjunctive medications as needed. Discuss your treatment program with your psychiatrist & your psychologist for optimal control of symptoms.
