A member asked:

My doctor just found a lesion on my cervix that indicated squamous cell l cervical cancer what will they do? does clindamycin vaginal cream help???

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Surgery needed: Malignancies of the cervix must be controlled. When the Ca is in-situ as defined by biopsy, local therapy ie. cone or cryosurgery needed. When invasive Ca present, then hysterectomy with pelvic node dissection is most effective. At times RT is needed post surgery.
