Depends: If it's a cyst in the skin then there is no danger. If it is a cyst coming from the lining of the spinal cord then it could cause problems. Cysts are benign and can remain stable your whole life and never grow. Only if it were to get bigger and push on the spinal cord itself would it become a problem
