my tonsils have never returned to their normal state ever since i was a kid, they are still big, is this dangerous?

Big tonsils: They are only dangerous if - You have lots of sore throats You have difficulty swallowing because of them You snore or choke and gag in your sleep because of them, and/or wake up tired both which may indicate obstructive sleep apnea. If none of these are the case, I'd leave them alone as you don't really want to put yourself through surgery if you don't need to!
