NSAID: I see you take Advil - does it help? Your symptoms are consistent with costochondritis, a form of arthritis which is best treated with a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug like Advil. Naproxen, which is much longer acting is an alternative .Be sure you're using an adequate dose: 400-800 mg of Advil very 4-6 hours or Aleve (naproxen) 2 tabs with food every 8-12 hours. Physical therapy can also help.
