Rabbit rabies: If he is truly a domestic rabbit and has been raised in a house since birth, it is very unlikely he has rabies. If he ever has been a "free range" rabbit, then thee is a slim but real possibility. You are doing the right thing getting started with the shots, but if he's really a pet, I doubt it.
