Irregular bleeding: Irregular or abnormal bleeding does occur occasionally and is because of a hormonal irregularity. Most of the time, it is not a problem. However, if you have a lot if bleeding (more than normal) for a long period of time, you should talk with your doctor. Sometimes medications like birth control can help, sometimes other evaluations are needed.
