Continued period: If you have had unprotected sex in the past month before the bleeding started, you may be having a miscarriage or a pregnancy in your tube. See your healthcare provider immediately for an exam, a serum HCG test and perhaps an ultrasound . Sustained bleeding at age 21 needs to be investigated because the causes can be serious.

See Ob-Gyn Dr: Sometimes if you are under a lot of stress the hormonal balance changes causing some of this to happen but you may have been pregnant & lost the fetus causing the vaginal bleeding. You really need to see your PCP or an Ob-Gyn Dr. ASAP
