Re-injured: Sounds like you certainly re-injured the area of the previous surgery. call your Doc (surgeon) as a good exam should help determine if you need a radiological test to be ordered or some good Physical therapy prescribed. best wishes.

You should see ortho: I'm not totally certain what you want to know, but my guess is that you are concerned about reinjury. Yes, that's definitely possible. Any soft tissue injury takes an average of 6-8 weeks or more to heal. I think you will be served best by seeing the surgeon who repaired your shoulder. Explain the mechanism of injury and what has happened since. Your ortho doc will be able to come up with a plan.
