Special occasions: is fine - as long as your fibrosis is not too advanced. and seriously just special occasions - like a few times a year.

If a person was drinking alcohol say beer every day after a days work.If alcohol was causing liver damage the GGT would be elevated right?And if GGT was normal on lab work while drinking alcohol every day that would mean alcohol is not doing damage?
So just say for instance if a person was to have cirrhosis of the liver and was drinking beer every day 6-8 beers. the GGT on bloodwork would not be normal right? Because that would be considered on going damage right?
