Can pin worms hurt my five week old baby?

Too young to get it: You get PW by ingesting the eggs that are spread on bed linen and contaminate the fingers. Since a five week old does not control their hands and fingers, they would require an external source to feed them the eggs before they could ever have it. Even if they did, they would not be likely to have any recognizable symptoms. The PW sit in the poo like bacteria.
