Team approach: Most voice centers are run by an otolaryngologist (ENT) who specializes in voice (laryngology). You will also likely be seen by a speech pathologist who has special training for voice patients. You will likely have a routine nasopharyngoscopy and possibly video stroboscopy to take a detailed look at your vocal cords.
